As a Night Shift Procurement Specialist, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities, source and qualify suppliers, and build a resilient supplier network. You will negotiate prices, lead times, and service level agreements to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality. You will monitor supplier performance using metrics, address issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize risk and ensure continuity of supply across operations.
This role requires strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, and legal teams. You will manage purchase orders, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in supplier onboarding and risk assessments. You will also stay current with market trends in the Philippines to identify opportunities for cost optimization and value creation. Responsibility
- Procure goods and services end-to-end, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.
- Source and qualify suppliers, build a resilient vendor network, and conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Negotiate prices, terms, SLAs, and contractual obligations to achieve cost savings and optimal value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, create purchase orders, and manage lifecycle activities.
- Monitor supplier performance using key metrics, address issues, and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for audits and financial reconciliation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in BPO or multinational settings.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office; experience with purchase orders and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities; comfortable working night shifts.
- Knowledge of local suppliers in the Philippines, market trends, and compliance standards.
