LINACO is seeking a results-driven Procurement Strategist to join our team in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full-time position offers an opportunity to shape the company’s sourcing strategy and drive tangible improvements across direct and indirect spends.
As a key partner to operations, finance, and manufacturing, you will design and execute strategic sourcing plans, build resilient supplier networks, and optimize total cost of ownership. You will lead end-to-end procurement processes—from supplier discovery and evaluation to contract negotiation and performance management—while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly influence product availability, quality, and profitability, supporting LINACO’s mission to deliver high-quality products to customers efficiently.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans across direct and indirect spend to optimize value and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Lead supplier discovery, selection, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing performance management to secure favorable terms and strong partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define category strategies and budget alignment.
- Conduct spend analysis and supplier risk assessments; identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
- Drive supplier development programs, on-time delivery, quality improvements, and compliance with LINACO policies.
- Manage procurement processes within the ERP system, including master data governance, supplier onboarding, and cycle-time improvements.
- Monitor and report procurement metrics; present insights and recommendations to leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in spend analytics, data interpretation, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management across functions.
- Knowledge of procurement policies, compliance, and risk management; ability to implement process improvements.
- Project management mindset with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; Malay language skills considered a plus.
