Responsibility
- Monitor daily production processes to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve process deviations and optimize line performance.
- Assist in line design, equipment changes, and implementation of process improvements and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collect and analyze production data, perform root cause analyses, and participate in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support preventive maintenance programs and TPM activities to maximize equipment uptime.
- Lead small-scale projects to reduce waste, improve yield, and shorten cycle times.
- Participate in New Product Introductions (NPI), process validations, and change control activities.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Regulatory requirements and maintain audit readiness.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Production Engineer or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Solid understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, ERP) is a plus.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, process flows, and control plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in Shah Alam and adapt to a dynamic production environment.
