Shape production excellence at SANCora as a hands-on Production Planner. In this full-time role based in Taiping, Perak, you will own the master production schedule and translate demand into actionable plans that maximize throughput while minimizing waste. You will collaborate with production, procurement, and warehousing to ensure materials and capacity align with customer commitments, and you will leverage ERP/MRP data to forecast needs, track performance, and drive continuous improvement.
As a key driver of operations, you will contribute to capacity planning, inventory optimization, and KPI-driven results. Responsibility
- Develop and own the master production schedule to meet customer deadlines and optimize capacity.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and warehousing to ensure materials availability and on-time delivery.
- Monitor demand signals and translate forecasts into actionable short- and mid-term plans.
- Manage MRP/ERP data accuracy and adjust schedules to address variances and constraints.
- Identify bottlenecks, balance workloads, and drive continuous improvement in scheduling and capacity planning.
- Prepare and present production performance reports; support daily/weekly scheduling meetings with stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory levels and throughput; contribute to inventory optimization initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar manufacturing planning role.
- Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and KPI-driven environments.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and manage competing priorities.
