You will translate demand and sales forecasts into actionable production plans while balancing capacity, material availability and cost considerations to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.
In this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a robust master production schedule, monitor capacity and lead times, and ensure data accuracy within our ERP/MRP environment. Responsibility
- Develop and manage the master production schedule for Rubberflex products, translating demand plans into achievable production runs while balancing capacity and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely material availability and on-time delivery.
- Monitor and optimize production lead times, setup/changeover times, and line utilization to maximize throughput.
- Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data, including BOMs, routings, and master data required for reliable planning.
- Identify and resolve production constraints, plan bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles.
- Prepare and communicate production KPIs and status reports to cross-functional stakeholders; escalate issues when needed.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics and quality teams to align supply and demand with customer requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing planning.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision making; ability to forecast and plan effectively.
- Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable working with multiple teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and adapt to changing demand or supply scenarios.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude and a focus on quality and accuracy.
