Responsibility

  • Lead daily production planning and ensure alignment with master production schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as OEE, scrap rate, and downtime; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Enforce safety policies and ensure a clean, compliant working environment; participate in safety programs and incident investigations.
  • Coach and manage production team members; assign tasks, conduct performance feedback, and support skill development.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and process engineering to optimize equipment reliability and process flows.
  • Coordinate with QA to ensure product quality and documentation; support non conformance investigations and CAPAs.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools and standard work to reduce waste and increase throughput.
  • Report production status and issues to site leadership; implement contingency plans to protect delivery commitments.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands on manufacturing or production leadership experience in an industrial setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and MS Office; data driven decision making.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Safety focused mindset with familiarity of OSHA guidelines and safety training programs.
