Responsibility
- Translate documents and content from English to Japanese with accuracy and nuance
- Review and proofread translations to maintain context, tone, and consistency
- Collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to ensure client satisfaction
- Research terminology and industry-specific expressions as needed
- Work with CAT tools and translation memory databases
- Manage multiple translation projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure all deliverables meet strict quality standards and deadlines
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field
- Native-level fluency in Japanese and advanced proficiency in English
- Minimum 2 years’ professional translation experience
- Strong command of CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ)
- Excellent attention to detail and cultural understanding
- Outstanding time management and organization skills
- Proven ability to handle confidential documents responsibly
- Experience translating technical, business, or legal content preferred
