In this role, you will partner with authors, designers, and production teams to steward manuscripts from submission through final output, while upholding brand voice and industry standards.

Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end editorial workflow for assigned titles from manuscript submission to production.
- Coordinate with authors, editors, designers, and production teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.
- Maintain consistency with house style, brand voice, and market positioning across all formats.
- Edit and proofread manuscripts, including copyediting, line editing, and factual verification.
- Develop and manage editorial calendars, track milestones, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Optimize content for digital platforms, including metadata, SEO considerations, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams for successful book launches and promotions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of editorial or publishing experience, preferably in trade publishing.
- Strong knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style and proofreading practices.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing workflows.
- Proficiency in layout tools (InDesign or similar) and basic image editing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple titles, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
