NovaQuill Publishing is seeking a Publishing Project Manager to orchestrate end-to-end editorial production for print and digital formats. You will partner with editors, designers, authors, and marketing to deliver high-quality content on schedule and in line with brand guidelines. Responsibility
- Lead editorial production workflow from manuscript to final publish across print and digital formats
- Manage schedules, dependencies, budgets, and cross-functional timelines with editors, designers, and marketers
- Enforce quality standards, style guides, and brand consistency across all publications
- Coordinate metadata creation, file prep, and delivery for print, ebook, and audiobook formats
- Oversee CMS publishing processes and ensure accessibility and SEO readiness
- Collaborate with authors, editors, designers, and sales to optimize reader engagement
- Track performance metrics, adjust plans, and report progress to stakeholders
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
- 3+ years in publishing, editorial production, or content operations
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership
- Excellent copyediting, proofreading, and adherence to established style guides
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) and digital publishing workflows
- Knowledge of metadata standards (ONIX, Dublin Core) and SEO basics
- Familiarity with print and digital production processes and vendor coordination
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
