Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Manage purchase orders, track inventory levels, and coordinate timely deliveries to meet production and sales targets.
- Analyze market trends for FMCG products and materials to identify and seize cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for strategic sourcing and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as production, logistics, and finance to streamline procurement processes.
- Prepare regular procurement reports and maintain accurate records for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory compliance in all purchasing activities.
Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry (junior and senior roles available).
- Strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and inventory management best practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail is essential.
- Proficient in procurement software, MS Office, and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under strict deadlines.
- Fluent in English; additional local languages are an advantage.
