Join Asian Alcohol Corporation as a Purchasing Staff and become a key member of our procurement team. In this role, you will source reliable suppliers, evaluate quotes, and manage purchase orders to support our manufacturing operations. You will coordinate deliveries with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective inputs that meet quality standards.
As part of our procurement function, you will maintain supplier records, monitor order status, and help implement cost-control initiatives across materials and services essential to production. You will work closely with warehouse and production teams to balance demand with supply, reduce lead times, and minimize stockouts while preserving product quality and compliance with company policies.

Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers; maintain a comprehensive supplier database to support production needs.
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders; ensure accuracy, timely approvals, and compliant documentation.
- Monitor order progress and coordinate with logistics to ensure on-time delivery and minimize disruptions.
- Review supplier quotes, negotiate prices, terms, and lead times to achieve cost savings and favorable procurement terms.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with production, QC, and warehouse teams to align materials with production schedules and inventory targets.
- Support inventory planning, reporting, and cycle counts; flag shortages and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in supplier performance evaluation and onboarding, contributing to long-term supplier reliability.
Qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years of purchasing or procurement experience; fresh graduates with internship experience considered.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Proficient in MS Excel; experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen understanding of local suppliers in Negros Occidental or Western Visayas is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to manufacturing procurement processes, and maintain confidentiality.
