Responsibility
- Lead and mentor the QAQC team to ensure adherence to quality standards across all production lines.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to implement CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor key quality metrics such as defect rate, scrap rate, and calibration status; analyze data and drive root cause countermeasures.
- Oversee incoming materials inspection, in-process quality checks, and final product release to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Ensure calibration, maintenance, and proper use of measurement equipment and testing tools; verify traceability and documentation.
- Review, update, and enforce SOPs, work instructions, and standardized testing methods in alignment with ISO 9001 and internal quality policies.
- Lead internal audits and support external audits; prepare quality reports and dashboards for management review.
- Train and develop QA technicians; assign tasks, monitor performance, and manage shift coverage when required.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems including ISO 9001 and GMP, plus calibration standards.
- Proficient in statistical methods and data analysis such as SPC and MSA; able to drive root cause analysis and CAPA.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities; willingness to work in Batangas.
- Experience with documentation, reporting, and QA software or ERP systems.
