Job description

ATC - Applied Total Control Treatment is seeking a meticulous QC Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Simpang Ampat, Penang. In this critical role, you will partner with production operators, process engineers and quality assurance to safeguard product quality from incoming materials to finished goods. You will help ensure every item leaving the line meets customer specifications and regulatory requirements, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects and waste.

As a QC Inspector, you will perform visual and dimensional inspections, verify measurements with calibrated tools, and document results in our quality management system. You will monitor production processes for nonconformances, escalate critical issues, and participate in root cause analysis and CAPA activities. Responsibility

  • Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of components and finished products against drawings, specs and quality criteria
  • Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other measurement tools to verify dimensions
  • Document nonconformances, generate inspection reports and support root cause analysis
  • Maintain calibration of inspection instruments and ensure traceability of measurements
  • Collaborate with production, process engineering and QA teams to resolve quality issues
  • Monitor production processes to detect defects early and minimize waste
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards and customer specifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in CAPA activities

Qualification

  • Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1-2 years of quality control inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of measurement tools and GD&T concepts
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and QA best practices
  • Proficiency with ERP or MES systems and data entry for inspection records
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem solving
  • Effective communication skills in English; Malay language is a plus
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts or overtime as required
