LINACO is hiring a dedicated Quality Control Assistant to support our manufacturing operations in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a member of the LINACO quality team, you will help ensure product conformity from inbound materials through finished goods. You will work alongside production, engineering, and QA colleagues to implement inspection procedures, collect accurate data, and support continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and prevent nonconformances.

You will also assist in maintaining 5S on the shop floor, support calibration activities, and participate in internal audits. The role provides exposure to quality management systems (ISO 9001) and GMP-friendly processes, helping you build skills in root cause analysis and problem solving.
Responsibility
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and finished goods inspections to verify conformance to specifications.
- Measure and inspect components using appropriate tools (calipers, micrometers) and read engineering drawings.
- Document results in the quality management system and maintain accurate, traceable records.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or products; coordinate disposition with QA and Production.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to implement corrective actions (CAPA) and prevent recurrence.
- Apply sampling plans (AQL) and perform batch acceptance inspections per defined procedures.
- Support internal audits and contribute to ISO 9001 and GMP compliance.
- Maintain 5S standards and support calibration and housekeeping on the shop floor.
Qualification
- Diploma or certificate in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing setting; fresh graduates considered.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers); ability to read engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001) and basic problem-solving methods.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP/MIS is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and teamwork.
- Ability to work shifts and stand for extended periods.
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
