Join Apex Precision Manufacturing, a leader in precision components for critical industries. We are seeking a results-driven Quality Control Engineer to lead QC initiatives across manufacturing lines and ensure every part meets our stringent quality standards. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier teams to implement robust quality controls, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with ISO 9001.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, implement, and maintain QC inspection plans, inspection criteria, and acceptance tests for all products.
- Lead in-process and final inspections, ensuring conformity to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Analyze nonconformances, drive root cause investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with design and production teams to improve process capability and reduce variability using statistical methods.
- Document quality metrics, prepare inspection reports, and present results to cross-functional teams.
- Participate in internal and external audits and support supplier quality management.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for QC activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in quality control within manufacturing or related industries.
- Certification such as ASQ CQE or CQA is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of statistical tools and methods (SPC, Gage R&R, DOE, root cause analysis).
- Experience with quality management systems ISO 9001; familiar with CAPA processes and audits.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints; experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
