Benitua-Gan Ventures, Inc is seeking a licensed chemist to serve as Quality Control Officer and lead our QC and Micro laboratory operations. This full-time role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a rigorous quality program that ensures product safety and regulatory compliance across all stages of production. Based in San Pedro City, Laguna, the successful candidate will supervise chemical, microbiological, and sensory testing, manage documentation, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
The Quality Control Officer will establish robust QC methods, validate test procedures, and ensure data integrity from raw materials to finished goods. You will oversee sampling plans, calibrations, method transfers, deviations, CAPAs, and trending of QC metrics. You will collaborate closely with Production, QA, and R&D teams to troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and optimize processes for consistent product quality in a GMP environment.
The ideal candidate is a licensed chemist with hands-on experience in laboratory management, micro testing, sensory evaluation, and strict documentation practices. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide a small QC team.

Responsibility
- Lead QC lab setup, calibration, and development of standard operating procedures for GMP compliance.
- Plan and supervise chemical, microbiological, and sensory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Develop, validate, and review testing methods; approve COAs, deviation reports, and CAPAs.
- Monitor QC data, trends, and quality metrics; ensure data integrity and meticulous documentation.
- Maintain laboratory equipment qualification, calibration schedules, and preventive maintenance coordination.
- Collaborate with Production, QA, and R&D to implement process improvements and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, waste management, and regulatory requirements within a GMP environment.
Qualification
- Licensed Chemist with valid Philippine license.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field; 2-5 years of QC experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001; excellent documentation and regulatory readiness.
- Experience with sensory evaluation and microbiology testing; familiarity with instrumentation (e.g., spectrophotometry, GC/HPLC) is a plus.
- Proficient in data management, MS Office, and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
