QualityFirst Manufacturing is seeking a results-driven Quality Control Specialist to join our growing team in Boston, MA. You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier teams to uphold stringent quality standards across all products.
In this role, you will implement QC procedures, perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to prevent defects and reduce waste. You will analyze data, prepare concise reports, and lead CAPA activities to sustain the highest level of quality across all product lines.

Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and inspection criteria across multiple product lines.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Collect and analyze QC data, prepare concise reports, and lead root-cause analysis and CAPA activities.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to implement process improvements and reduce defect rates.
- Support internal audits and supplier quality programs, including supplier assessments and audits.
- Maintain calibration and qualification records for test equipment; ensure traceability and accuracy of measurements.
- Document deviations, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the quality management system and ERP.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of hands-on quality control experience in manufacturing or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Whys) and problem-solving methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and GMP requirements; audit experience preferred.
- Proficiency with data analysis, quality metrics, and quality management software/ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork; capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
