Responsibility
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and customer requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures, work instructions, test protocols, and checklists.
- Monitor manufacturing processes using statistical process controls (SPC) and data analysis to identify variances and drive improvements.
- Document deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions; lead root cause analysis and CAPA activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Lead internal audits and support external certifications (GMP/ISO) as needed.
- Train operators and production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage non-conforming material disposition, quarantine actions, and supplier quality communications.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of quality control/QA experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001 (ISO 13485 a plus).
- Experience with data analysis, SPC/MSA, DOE, and proficiency in Excel; familiarity with QA software.
- Strong understanding of inspection techniques, metrology equipment, and measurement systems (CMMs a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings with high attention to detail.
