Join Ipsos, a global leader in market research, as a Research Executive in Kuala Lumpur. This role reports to a manager based in another country. While there are no time zone differences, you should be comfortable collaborating with international teams and stakeholders to deliver world-class insights. You will contribute to studies across a range of industries, from fast-moving consumer goods to technology and services, helping clients understand what drives consumer choice.
As a Research Executive, you will support the end-to-end research process, from study design and data collection to analysis and client-ready reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the Asia-Pacific region, helping brands understand consumer needs, attitudes and behaviors, and turning data into actionable recommendations. Responsibility
- Support the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative studies, including scoping, sampling, and data collection.
- Coordinate with regional and international teams to manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare client-ready reports and presentations that translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Assist with data cleaning, coding, and basic statistical analyses to extract meaningful patterns.
- Contribute to market landscape analysis and competitive benchmarking.
- Manage respondent recruitment, scheduling, and quality control across studies.
- Maintain meticulous project documentation and ensure adherence to Ipsos quality standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or a related area.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SPSS, R, or Python is advantageous.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and across time zones.
- Self-motivated, curious, and able to translate data into clear, compelling stories.
