Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of research studies, including experimental planning, data collection, and statistical analysis.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, perform cleaning, quality control, and reproducibility checks.
- Collaborate with faculty, postdocs, and students to advance projects across disciplines.
- Manage grant-related activities, monitor milestones, and contribute to proposals and progress reports.
- Mentor and supervise graduate researchers and research assistants; train team members on protocols and safety.
- Disseminate findings through high-quality manuscripts, conference presentations, and open data/code practices.
Qualification
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., biology, neuroscience, chemistry, data science) or equivalent research experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on research experience in a laboratory or data-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R; experience with MATLAB; familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools.
- Proven ability to manage complex datasets, perform advanced statistical analyses, and interpret results.
- Evidence of peer-reviewed publications; experience with grant writing is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
