Responsibility
- Lead the design, execution, and optimization of experiments across multiple projects in the lab.
- Plan and conduct data analysis using statistical and computational tools; synthesize findings into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define research questions and experimental approaches.
- Prepare clear technical reports, grant proposals, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication.
- Mentor graduate students and research staff; supervise day-to-day lab operations and safety compliance.
- Manage project timelines, coordinate resources, and track milestones to ensure timely deliverables.
- Present research findings at internal meetings and scientific conferences.
- Contribute to ongoing grant writing and proposal development to secure funding.
Qualification
- PhD in biology, neuroscience, bioengineering, data science, or a related field, or equivalent research experience.
- Strong publication record with demonstrated impact in peer-reviewed venues.
- Proficiency in data analysis languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB; experience with reproducible research practices.
- Experience in experimental design, statistics, and data visualization.
- Excellent scientific writing and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-disciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with grant writing or proposal development is a plus.
- Commitment to research ethics, safety, and responsible conduct of research.
