We are seeking a proactive Research Scientist to contribute to high-impact projects in data science, computational social science, and statistics.
In this role, you will collaborate with faculty, postdocs, and graduate students to design studies, execute analyses, and disseminate findings through publications and presentations.

Responsibility
- Lead and contribute to data-driven research projects in data science and related fields.
- Design study protocols, develop analytical plans, and pre-register analyses when appropriate.
- Implement reproducible workflows using Python/R and manage data pipelines.
- Perform advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and causal inference techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and mentor junior researchers and students.
- Prepare manuscripts, conference talks, and grant proposals; contribute to open science initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and data governance policies.
- Present findings to internal and external stakeholders and participate in grant reporting.
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and R; experience with SQL and data visualization.
- Proven track record of research excellence with publications in peer-reviewed venues.
- Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal inference.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to explain complex results clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience with grant writing or grant management is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and version control (Git).
