Key responsibilities include delivering outstanding customer service, operating the pointâofâsale (POS) system, handling cash and card transactions securely, performing stock replenishment, merchandising products, and keeping the store clean and compliant with company standards. Responsibility
- Provide warm, professional customer service and respond to inquiries with product knowledge
- Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately, including cash, card, and mobile wallets
- Assist customers in locating products and offering upsell suggestions when appropriate
- Maintain attractive product displays and ensure shelves are stocked and properly labeled
- Process stock replenishment, inspect deliveries, and report discrepancies to management
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets
- Assist in store opening/closing procedures and loss prevention practices
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sales transactions
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team player mindset
- Basic math and computer literacy; familiarity with POS systems a plus
- Fluency in Malay and English; additional languages are a plus
- Availability to work weekends/evenings as required
