Responsibility
- Develop and execute merchandise plans and strategies to maximize sales and minimize inventory costs.
- Analyze sales data, stock levels, and market trends to make informed planning decisions.
- Collaborate with the buying, marketing, and warehouse teams to coordinate product replenishments and allocations.
- Forecast demand and track inventory turnover to ensure optimal stock levels in all retail locations.
- Prepare and present regular inventory reports, highlighting actionable insights for business improvement.
- Monitor merchandising activities and proactively address stock discrepancies and slow-moving items.
- Support promotional campaigns by ensuring appropriate product availability and allocation.
- Contribute to process enhancements related to inventory planning, workflow, and forecasting.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory planning or merchandise planning, preferably within the retail or footwear industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of retail sales, merchandising principles, and replenishment strategies.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
- Ability to work onsite in Ortigas, Metro Manila, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of forecasting tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
