Responsibility
- Greet customers warmly, assess their financial needs, and provide accurate currency exchange and remittance guidance.
- Process in-store transactions accurately at the POS, including cash handling and electronic payments, with daily reconciliation.
- Explain exchange rates, fees, and regulatory requirements to customers in a clear and compliant manner.
- Maintain precise records and documentation to ensure audit readiness and AML/KYC compliance.
- Deliver an exceptional in-store experience by keeping displays tidy, organized, and up to date with promotions.
- Identify opportunities to upsell services that meet customer needs while maintaining integrity and transparency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and support store operations during peak hours and weekends.
- Adhere to security, privacy, and data protection policies to safeguard customer information.
Qualification
- Previous experience in retail or financial services providing strong customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; ability to explain complex financial services simply.
- Solid math, cash handling, and basic accounting skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team, with a positive attitude and a customer-first mindset.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash reconciliation processes; basic IT proficiency.
- Understanding of currency exchange, remittance processes, and AML/KYC considerations is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
