As a Retail Sales Staff / Manager, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional service, guiding prospective students and families through enrollment in our music lessons, and building lasting relationships with customers. Responsibility
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences in-store by actively listening to student needs and recommending suitable music programs.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets for lessons, instrument purchases, and bundled offerings.
- Coordinate enrollment processes, schedule lessons, and support families through the onboarding journey.
- Maintain compelling merchandising, product displays, and accurate pricing across the store or kiosk in mall locations.
- Operate POS, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate reconciliation at shift end.
- Assist with staff onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback for junior team members.
- Build strong relationships with mall teams, teachers, and parents to promote events and open houses.
- Monitor inventory levels, place replenishment orders, and manage store maintenance and cleanliness.
Qualification
- Proven retail sales experience, preferably in education, music, or consumer services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to explain programs clearly, handle objections, and close enrollments.
- Availability to work weekends or after-hours in a mall and campus environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; basic leadership potential.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Passion for music and education; willingness to learn about curriculum and offerings.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (Mandarin, Malay) is a plus.
