Compliant Business Processing is seeking a results-driven Sales Support Specialist with Freight Forwarding experience tailored to AU markets. In this role, you will collaborate with sales, operations and carriers to craft accurate freight quotations, manage rate requests, and ensure timely delivery of proposals. You will rely on the CW1 system and well-maintained rate tables to configure shipments, apply correct INCOTERMS, and price to win while protecting margins. A keen eye for detail and strong communication are essential to translate customer needs into actionable quotes and dependable service plans.
Your day-to-day includes coordinating with internal teams and external partners to gather data, verify transit times, and resolve any pricing anomalies. You will present clear, data-driven quotations to clients, respond promptly to inquiries, and track all opportunities through to closure. When needed, you will assist with bid opportunities, contract renewals, and post quote follow ups to maintain excellent customer relationships.

Responsibility
- Prepare and respond to rate requests and quotations for freight forwarding services, focusing on AU market requirements.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and carriers to ensure accurate pricing and on-time delivery of quotes.
- Enter and maintain quotes and shipment data in the CW1 system with high accuracy.
- Assist in rate analysis, carrier negotiations, and optimization of routing options.
- Support the sales team in bid opportunities, proposals, and contract renewals.
- Monitor quote statuses, follow up with clients, and communicate exceptions or delays promptly.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations and service levels are met.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
Qualification
- 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related sales support role.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, tariffs, INCOTERMS, and rate negotiation.
- Experience using CW1 or similar freight quotation systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry and analysis capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Proactive, reliable, and capable of working with international teams and clients.
