Join GreenLeaf AgroTech, a leader in data driven farming solutions, as a Senior Agribusiness Analyst in Salinas, CA. This role blends farm operations insight with sophisticated analytics to optimize yield, cost, and sustainability across our client and partner networks.
In this role you will partner with operations, supply chain, and product teams to transform data into actionable strategies that drive profitability and mission impact in agribusiness markets.
Location to be based in Salinas with hybrid options. Travel up to 15 percent for client visits and field pilots.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for farm operations, supply chain, and agribusiness performance.
- Analyze production constraints and model scenarios for yield, input costs, and inventory planning.
- Collaborate with data engineering to source data from ERP, farm management systems, and IoT sensors.
- Translate data insights into actionable business recommendations for executive teams.
- Lead forecasting and budgeting processes for crop cycles and product lines.
- Identify optimization opportunities in procurement, logistics, and sustainability initiatives.
- Present findings to cross functional teams and mentor junior analysts.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Economics, Data Science or related field; Masters preferred.
- 5 plus years of experience in agribusiness analytics, supply chain, or farm operations.
- Strong SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and farm management software.
- Knowledge of crop economics, market dynamics and sustainability metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to present to executives.
- Programming knowledge in Python or R is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work on site in Salinas with hybrid options.
