Responsibility
- Develop and execute agribusiness growth strategies across segments including farmers, co-ops, processors, and distributors.
- Build and manage a network of key customers and partners; negotiate high value deals and close partnerships.
- Analyze market trends, commodity dynamics, and customer needs to inform product and service improvements.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with product, data, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Manage revenue pipeline, forecast performance, and report metrics to leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements with compelling storytelling.
- Develop budgets, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in agribusiness development, sales, or market development; experience with farmers or cooperatives a plus.
- Proven track record of growing revenue and building strategic partnerships.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; ability to present to C-level audiences.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment; willing to travel up to 40%.
- Understanding of supply chain, commodity markets, and regulatory considerations in the US agricultural sector.
