Responsibility
- Lead cross functional teams to optimize field operations, procurement, and logistics across multiple sites
- Develop and execute operating plans to increase yield, reduce costs, and improve reliability
- Manage partnerships with growers, co ops, distributors, and suppliers
- Implement data driven supply chain strategies and monitor KPIs
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure requests
- Drive sustainability initiatives and end to end traceability
Qualification
- Bachelors in agriculture, agribusiness, supply chain or related field; MBA preferred
- 7 plus years in operations management within agribusiness or ag tech
- Proven vendor management and contract negotiation experience
- Strong data analysis and proficiency with ERP and farm management tools
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of crop cycles, commodity markets, and risk management
- Willingness to travel regionally across the Midwest
