This role combines strategic market analysis with hands-on operations leadership to optimize supply chains, partnerships, and field-level execution.
Based in Des Moines, IA, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive profitability, scale innovative farming solutions, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end regional operations including procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to launch new products and market initiatives.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with farmers, distributors, and co-ops.
- Monitor performance metrics, generate insights from data, and present recommendations to executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and sustainability goals across all operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in agribusiness operations or field-based roles.
- Proven leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong data analytics skills with experience using ERP, SQL, and BI tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and manage complex projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and sustainability practices in agriculture.
