Join a fast-growing agribusiness focused on sustainable farming and data-driven decisions. We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Operations Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain, procurement, inventory, and field operations from our Davis, CA hub. You will partner with farming teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and profitable growth.
In this role, you will shape operational strategy, optimize processes, and drive performance metrics across the value chain in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end agribusiness operations, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and distribution.
- Develop and optimize supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.
- Implement data-driven decision making using ERP systems and analytics to improve efficiency and margins.
- Coordinate with farming operations, QA, sales, and finance to align demand planning with production capacity.
- Oversee quality control, traceability, and compliance with agricultural regulations and certifications.
- Drive cost optimization and sustainability initiatives across the supply chain.
- Build and mentor cross-functional teams, setting priorities and tracking progress against KPIs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Supply Chain, Agriculture Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in agribusiness operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- Proven leadership and project management experience in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of U.S. agricultural regulations and compliance standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
