AgroNova Solutions is hiring a Senior Agribusiness Operations Manager in Salinas, CA. We blend precision agriculture with data-driven decision making to optimize yields and profitability across farm, procurement, and distribution networks.
We are looking for a strategic leader who can scale operations, drive KPI-based performance, and collaborate across agronomy, procurement, and logistics teams to deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end agribusiness operations across farming operations, procurement, logistics, and post-harvest processes.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, budgets, and forecasting models to optimize cost efficiency and yields.
- Collaborate with agronomists, suppliers, and customers to align demand and supply across the value chain.
- Implement ERP and data analytics solutions to streamline inventory, procurement, traceability, and quality control.
- Manage cross-functional teams in field operations, warehousing, and transportation, driving a culture of safety and excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement using lean principles, standard operating procedures, and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, traceability, and regulatory requirements; lead internal audits as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in agribusiness operations, farming, or supply chain management; prior leadership roles.
- Strong data analytics proficiency with Excel, SQL, and BI tools; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, traceability, HACCP/GSFI considerations, and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed to support field operations.
