AgroNova Solutions is a leading provider of sustainable agribusiness solutions that connect growers to markets through data-driven insights and responsible farming practices. We are seeking a Senior Agribusiness Operations Manager to orchestrate end-to-end operations across our California network, driving efficiency, profitability, and quality from field to fork.
In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams, implement scalable processes, and partner with growers, suppliers, and customers to ensure compliance, traceability, and exceptional service levels. You will be instrumental in shaping our growth strategy while upholding our commitment to sustainability and food safety.
Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end agribusiness operations from farm to market, driving efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Lead production planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management to meet customer commitments.
- Coordinate with growers, suppliers, and logistics partners to optimize lead times and costs.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards; implement data-driven improvements using ERP and BI tools.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Lead budgeting, cost controls, and capital planning for the operations network.
- Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Mentor and grow a high-performance operations team aligned with company values.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or MSc preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in agribusiness operations, supply chain, or farm-to-fork roles.
- Strong data analytics skills with experience in SQL, Excel, and BI tools; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proven track record in cost optimization, forecasting, risk management, and supplier relationship management.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and regulatory requirements from FDA, USDA, and local authorities.
- Ability to travel up to 25 within the region and occasional national trips.
