GreenField AgroTech is seeking a Senior Agribusiness Operations Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across supply chain, production planning, and commercial operations in Des Moines, IA. You will optimize margins, drive data-driven decisions, and scale our farming technology partnerships.
This role blends strategy, people leadership, and hands-on execution in a fast-growing agribusiness environment.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end operations planning across sourcing, production, and distribution to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
- Drive process improvements and KPI-based management to optimize margins and service levels.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and R&D to align supply with product roadmaps.
- Own forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization using ERP and data analytics tools.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing operations team, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Partner with commercial teams to translate market insights into operational strategies.
- Implement scalable systems for traceability, compliance, and sustainability reporting.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant operations or supply chain management experience in agribusiness.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools (Excel, SQL, BI).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven leadership ability with experience building and mentoring cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across internal and external partners.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed to support field operations.
