Responsibility
- Lead flight planning and operational execution for assigned routes with rigorous risk assessment and contingency planning.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with FAA Part 121 standards and AeroNova SOPs.
- Perform pre-flight checks, weather analysis, fuel planning, and weight-and-balance calculations.
- Provide effective CRM and leadership to flight crews during all phases of flight.
- Supervise crew, manage communications with dispatch, ATC, and maintenance teams.
- Monitor safety, quality assurance, and incident reporting; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and train junior pilots, conduct routine and annual proficient checks.
Qualification
- ATP certificate with Type Rating for the applicable jet aircraft.
- Minimum 5+ years of PIC experience in commercial aviation; 3,000+ total flight hours; 1,500+ PIC hours preferred.
- Current first or second class medical certificate; valid and current FAA credentials.
- Strong IFR proficiency, multi-engine jet experience, and modern flight deck technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; proven CRM and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work international travel schedules and adapt to time zone changes.
- Proficiency with EFB, flight planning software, and safety management systems.
