Responsibility
- Lead flight operations as Captain on assigned routes, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and supervise First Officers and cadets, fostering strong CRM and adherence to SOPs.
- Perform rigorous pre-flight planning including weather analysis, fuel calculations, weight and balance, and MEL/NEF considerations.
- Coordinate with Dispatch, ATC, and Ground Operations to maintain schedule integrity and safety margins.
- Oversee post-flight briefings, debriefs, and incident investigations as needed, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Uphold company safety culture, participate in safety programs, and drive risk mitigation initiatives.
Qualification
- Airline Transport Pilot ATP certificate with current type rating on the applicable jet fleet
- Minimum 5,000 flight hours with at least 1,000 PIC hours on turbine aircraft
- Active FAA medical certificate and valid passport; ability to travel internationally as required
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Proficient IFR and night operations, strong CRM, and expertise in flight planning software and systems
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills under pressure
- Willingness to relocate or commute to the Seattle area and work varied shifts
