Responsibility
- Operate wide-body or narrow-body aircraft in accordance with company SOPs and FAA regulations
- Perform thorough pre-flight planning, weather analysis, fuel calculations, and load planning
- Maintain situational awareness, manage flight deck automation, and execute safe takeoffs and landings
- Collaborate with crew to optimize efficiency, safety, and on-time performance
- Mentor junior pilots and maintain accurate flight logs and training records
- Lead the debrief process, document discrepancies, and participate in safety programs
- Respond to abnormal or emergency situations with composure and effective decision-making
Qualification
- Active US pilot certificate with current medical (Airline Transport Pilot or Commercial with appropriate type ratings)
- Minimum 3,000 total flight hours with at least 1,000 PIC; multi-engine experience strongly preferred
- Type rating on a current platform (eg Boeing 737, Airbus A320) or willingness to obtain
- Strong IFR proficiency, good CRM and communication skills with crew and ATC
- Proven leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities
- Willingness to relocate or commute to Seattle area; valid US work authorization
- Commitment to ongoing training, simulator checks, and regulatory compliance
