Responsibility

  • Lead the Medical HR function for the department, ensuring timely recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning aligned with clinical needs.
  • Collaborate with medical leaders to forecast staffing requirements, manage headcount, and optimize staffing mix across shifts and rosters.
  • Oversee HR policies, payroll administration, benefits, leave management, and compliance with MOM regulations and hospital standards.
  • Drive employee relations and engagement initiatives, addressing concerns with confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Provide data-driven HR reporting, dashboards, and insights to support management decisions and service delivery improvements.
  • Lead talent development programs, performance management, succession planning, and training initiatives for medical staff and allied health professionals.
  • Manage budgeting for HR initiatives and monitor HR operational efficiency and service quality.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or SHRM/HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in healthcare or hospital HR; experience in Singapore or regional healthcare settings is ideal.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, payroll, benefits, HRIS systems, and compliance frameworks pertinent to healthcare institutions.
  • Excellent leadership and people-management skills with the ability to collaborate with clinicians and senior leaders.
  • Proven track record in recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, and change management.
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset with proficiency in using HR metrics and HR analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English; additional local languages beneficial.
