Responsibility
- Lead and manage complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters from filing to resolution.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize high-stakes contracts, licensing agreements, and corporate documents.
- Oversee discovery, motions practice, summary judgment, and trial preparation; coordinate with paralegals and support staff.
- Provide strategic legal advice on risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and policy implications for clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates; provide actionable feedback and professional development guidance.
- Collaborate with partners to develop matter strategies, budgets, and staffing plans.
- Interface with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and regulatory bodies with professionalism and integrity.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; active New York State Bar membership required.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in litigation and/or corporate law, with a track record of handling complex matters.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills; ability to craft persuasive briefs and arguments.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities; experience managing teams and deadlines across multiple matters.
- Proficiency with e-discovery tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office; comfort with data-driven litigation strategies.
- Strong client management and interpersonal skills; ability to foster trust and collaborate with partners and clients.
