In this role, you will partner with clients to craft strategic solutions, manage cross border transactions, and ensure regulatory alignment across jurisdictions. Responsibility
- Lead complex corporate transactions and regulatory matters for clients from strategy to closing
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, term sheets, and financing documents
- Develop matter strategy, manage timelines, and mentor junior associates and paralegals
- Conduct legal research, draft memos, and provide risk assessments to clients and internal teams
- Oversee due diligence processes, disclosure schedules, and regulatory compliance reviews
- Engage with clients, outside counsel, and regulators to align on outcomes and expectations
- Deliver proactive legal counsel and training to internal stakeholders and business units
Qualification
- Juris Doctor JD from an accredited law school; active bar admission in New York
- Minimum 6 years of corporate law, M&A or regulatory experience; large firm background preferred
- Outstanding drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with a client focused mindset
- Strong research skills and ability to translate complex law into practical advice
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple matters concurrently under pressure
- Bar admission in good standing
