Join ApexDrive Automotive Solutions, a leader in electrified mobility, in Detroit, MI. We are seeking a Senior Automotive Electrical Engineer to drive electrical architectures, power electronics, and safety-critical systems for next-gen vehicles.

Responsibility
- Lead design and validation of automotive electrical and electronic systems (EE, ECUs, sensors, actuators).
- Own architecture development, requirements management, and traceability across programs.
- Develop power electronics strategies, including battery management and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Define test plans, DFMEA, and safety analyses in alignment with ISO 26262.
- Oversee supplier engagement, BOMs, and design documentation for production.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices.
- Support vehicle validation, field data analysis, and issue resolution post-launch.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Automotive Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of automotive electronics or embedded systems experience.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, and safety-critical development processes.
- Experience with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and vehicle networks.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink; programming in C/C++ and Python.
- Hands-on experience with power electronics, BMS, chargers, and mechatronics systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Authorized to work in the United States (or able to obtain work authorization).
