We are seeking a Senior Automotive Systems Engineer to lead the design, integration, and validation of electrical and electronic systems for next-generation vehicles. This role blends hands-on development with cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
What you will do in a nutshell: design, verify, and optimize automotive systems; collaborate with software, hardware, and validation teams; ensure safety and reliability through robust processes.
Responsibility
- Lead the design, integration, and validation of automotive electrical/electronic systems and components.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and validation teams to ensure seamless interfaces and system-level performance.
- Develop and manage system requirements, interface specifications, FMEA, and test plans.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and safety analyses in accordance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
- Create models and simulations (MATLAB/Simulink, CAD/ECAD) to predict behavior and guide testing.
- Plan and execute hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and bench testing; analyze results and implement improvements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet program milestones and quality standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of automotive experience in electrical/electronic systems or powertrain control.
- Strong knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, AUTOSAR; proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 26262 lifecycle, functional safety concepts, and FMEA.
- Experience with HIL testing, diagnostics, and bench testing; strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; proven track record leading cross-functional teams.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to travel as needed.
