We are seeking a Senior Automotive Electrical Engineer to lead the design, validation, and optimization of EV control software and hardware interfaces. Responsibility
- Lead design, validation, and integration of automotive electrical control systems for EV platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, powertrain, and supplier teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Develop system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and verification plans.
- Execute system-level testing, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis on complex ECUs and networks (CAN/LIN/FlexRay).
- Ensure safety and compliance with ISO 26262, SPICE, and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and contribute to design for manufacturability.
- Support production ramp, issue resolution, and post-launch optimization.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of automotive electrical engineering experience; EV experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of ECUs, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay), and AUTOSAR.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, lab equipment, and vector tools for hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Experience with power electronics, control algorithms, and battery management considerations.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262, ASILs, and robust safety-critical development processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Authorized to work in the United States or eligible for work authorization.
