As part of our team, you will work on domestic and import vehicles, perform engine and transmission repairs, electrical diagnostics, brake servicing, and routine preventive maintenance, ensuring every vehicle leaves the shop in top condition.
Responsibility
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical components.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections (oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks) to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize OBD-II scan tools and manufacturer diagnostic software to identify faults and implement effective repairs.
- Tear down, inspect, and rebuild components as required; advise on parts replacement and serviceable items.
- Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify quality and safety; document results and communicate findings to customers.
- Adhere to safety protocols, waste management, and shop cleanliness; maintain organized workspace.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and timelines; mentor junior technicians.
- Maintain and calibrate shop tools and equipment; order parts as needed to ensure timely repairs.
Qualification
- ASE certifications preferred; minimum 3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training from a trade school is a plus.
- Proficiency with OBD-II, diagnostic software, electrical systems, and shop equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to operate lift equipment.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills; ability to explain technical issues clearly.
