In this role you’ll work on modern engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brakes, suspension, and HVAC. You’ll interpret OEM service data, perform accurate repairs, and communicate repair plans effectively to customers and service advisors. You’ll also mentor junior technicians and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to raise quality and efficiency.

Responsibility
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical/electronic, brakes, suspension, and climate control.
- Perform preventive maintenance and advanced diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools.
- Interpret service data, diagnose root causes, and prepare accurate repair plans and estimates.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate status and expectations to customers.
- Maintain a safe, clean workshop and adhere to quality and warranty procedures.
- Mentor and train junior technicians; participate in knowledge sharing and process improvements.
- Ensure documentation is thorough for warranty and customer records.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certifications preferred; valid state driver's license.
- 5+ years of automotive repair experience with strong diagnostic capabilities.
- Proficient in engines, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel systems, brakes, steering, and HVAC.
- Strong reading of wiring diagrams and service manuals; experience with OEM software and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
