As a Senior Automotive Systems Engineer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust architectures, ensure safety and compliance, and drive performance from concept through production. Responsibility
- Lead the system architecture definition for ADAS and EV integration across sensors and control modules
- Define and manage system-level requirements, interfaces, and validation plans aligned with safety standards (ISO 26262)
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and test teams to ensure robust integration and verification across vehicle platforms
- Drive model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink) and co-simulations with real-time targets; oversee test automation and data-driven validation
- Prototype, test, and validate sensor fusion algorithms and decision-making logic on prototyping vehicles or test benches
- Collaborate with suppliers and OEM partners on integration and qualification activities
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews, design audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure documentation quality for design, testing, and production release including traceability and compliance artifacts
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field; MS/PhD preferred
- 8+ years of automotive systems engineering experience with emphasis on ADAS, perception, or EV integration
- Strong knowledge of automotive electronics, CAN/FlexRay/Ethernet, and embedded software (C/C++)
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, model-based design, and RTOS in automotive contexts
- Experience with ISO 26262 safety standards, hazard analysis, and safety case development
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; proven leadership
- Experience with HIL/SIL testing and data analytics for vehicle validation
- Willingness to travel 10-15% for supplier visits and field tests
