We are seeking a Senior Biologist to lead hands-on research in molecular biology, cell culture, and genomic analysis. Responsibility
- Design, optimize, and execute molecular biology experiments (PCR, qPCR, cloning, sequencing) and cell culture workflows.
- Lead genomics and transcriptomics studies, including data analysis and interpretation.
- Develop and validate protocols, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure experimental reproducibility.
- Manage and mentor junior scientists and technicians; oversee day-to-day lab operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable insights and publications.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; contribute to GLP/GMP documentation when applicable.
- Present results to internal and external stakeholders; prepare manuscripts and reports.
Qualification
- PhD or MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field; 3+ years of hands-on lab experience for MS; PhD with 1+ year industry experience preferred.
- Strong expertise in molecular biology techniques (PCR, qPCR, cloning, sequencing) and cell culture.
- Experience with genomics or transcriptomics data analysis; proficiency in R or Python and basic bioinformatics concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and interpret experiments; strong data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience mentoring team members.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (GLP/GMP) is a plus.
- Highly organized with meticulous documentation and data management.
