This is a hands-on, leadership-oriented role combining discovery science with strategic project oversight.
In this position, you will design and execute experiments, analyze complex datasets, and collaborate cross-functionally to translate findings into viable candidates. You will mentor junior researchers, contribute to regulatory-ready documentation, and communicate results to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibility
- Lead planning and execution of preclinical experiments in oncology and gene therapy programs.
- Design robust experiments, statistical plans, and data analyses to drive decision-making.
- Mentor and supervise research associates, manage project timelines, and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and regulatory to translate discoveries into candidates ready for development.
- Prepare technical reports, contribute to publications, and present data to senior leadership.
- Develop and optimize assays (cell culture, ELISA, sequencing) and ensure GLP/GMP considerations where applicable.
- Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements supporting IND enabling studies.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold laboratory safety and quality standards.
Qualification
- PhD in biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field; or MS with 5+ years of industry experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on biotech R&D experience, preferably in oncology or gene therapy.
- Proven expertise in cell culture, molecular biology techniques, omics assays, and data analysis (Python or R).
- Experience with CRISPR, protein expression/purification, ELISA, qPCR, and sequencing.
- Strong project leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with a track record of problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, generate actionable insights, and contribute to publications.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
