As a vital member of our R&D team, you will design, execute, and interpret experiments that translate novel biology into robust, scalable workflows. This is an opportunity to influence project direction, mentor junior scientists, and contribute to products that improve patient outcomes.
Responsibility
- Lead design, execution, and optimization of molecular biology assays (qPCR, ELISA, PCR, sequencing) for therapeutic targets.
- Develop and validate assays for GMP/GLP-compliant environments; ensure data integrity and traceability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, PK, CMC) to translate research into scalable processes.
- Mentor junior scientists; provide technical coaching and hands-on leadership in the lab.
- Analyze data using statistical tools; prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Maintain lab operations, instrument uptime, and inventory management; ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies and adapting protocols to evolving project needs.
Qualification
- PhD or MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field; 5+ years of hands-on biotech lab experience.
- Proven expertise in assay development, optimization, and validation; experience with qPCR, ELISA, HPLC/UPLC, sequencing preferred.
- Strong understanding of GMP/GLP requirements and data integrity practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis with Python, R, or GraphPad Prism; ability to generate and interpret statistical analyses.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; demonstrated mentoring ability.
- Experience with CRISPR-based editing and cell culture a plus; ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
